It was inspired by the song "If I Were a Rich Man" from the musical Fiddler on the Roof. In 2004, for the tenth anniversary of the famous reggae song, it was remade into a new song by Gwen Stefani on her debut solo album, Love. Angel. Music. Baby. (2004).
